Job Vacancies in Healthcare Industry

For healthcare industry (hospitals and nursing homes), we recruit Doctors, Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Staff Nurses, Enrolled Nurses, Nursing Aides, Healthcare Assistants(HA)/Patient Care Assistants(PCA) and Therapy aides.

 

Staff Nurses

Staff Nurses are required for the nursing homes catering to residents (patients) with the need for long term medical care. Residents are mostly the elderly who require medical care, with multiple medical conditions. Majority are either bed-bound or wheelchair-bound.

Staff nurses lead the team of enrolled nurses, nursing aides and healthcare assistants to provide holistic care with a view to recovery and rehabilitation in a home-like setting so that residents can enjoy quality of life again.

Prerequisite:

• Registered with the Singapore Nursing Board
• Minimum one year experience as Staff Nurse in Singapore in either hospitals or nursing homes

 

Enrolled Nurses

Enrolled Nurses are required for the nursing homes catering to residents (patients) with the need for long term medical care. Residents are mostly the elderly who require medical care, with multiple medical conditions. Majority are either bed-bound or wheelchair-bound.

Prerequisite:

• Registered with the Singapore Nursing Board
• Minimum one year experience as Enrolled Nurse in Singapore in either hospitals or nursing homes

 

Nursing Aides

Nursing aides work under the supervision of staff nurses and enrolled nurses, together with healthcare assistants. Nursing aides perform basic nursing duties and often involve in projects to improve different area of patient care.

Outstanding nursing aides are usually selected by the management for upgrading to the position of Enrolled Nurse and subsequently Staff Nurse, providing a career path for them.

Prerequisite:

• Diploma in Nursing / Bachelor of Science in Nursing / Bachelor of Nursing Science
• Registered nurse in home country preferred

 

Physiotherapy Aides

Physiotherapy aides assist Physiotherapists to deliver appropriate treatments with a view to rehabilitate them so that they are able to perform activities of daily living.

Outstanding therapy aides can look forward to becoming a qualified physiotherapists through employer sponsorship for the qualifying examination conducted by the Nanyang Polytechnic, Singapore.

Prerequisite:

• Bachelor of Physical Therapy / Bachelor of Medical Technology or equivalent
• Experience as a physiotherapist / physical therapist
• With or without practicing certificate/licence from home country
